Jess Fraser Apprentice at Joshua Ellis
Congratulations to two of our apprentices - Sarah Ward (weaving) has completed her level 2 NVQ certificate and will be collecting it tomorrow at the Textile Centre for Excellence. This is the culmination of 2 years of hard work. Jess Fraser has been awarded a QEST scholarship. QEST is an initiative set up by the Royal Warrant Holders Association to preserve traditional skills in the UK. She will be one of only 12 awarded this year and has been chosen from an initial entry of over 200 people. The scholarship will help raise awareness of Joshua Ellis among the Royal Warrant holders and further afield. Attached is a photo of Jess after her interview at 1, Buckingham Place in London 2 weeks ago.
